The FleetAlert is the premier product for finding and tracking cars, buses and trucks. The FleetAlert sends the location information of the car, bus or truck over the national paging networks. Location information is collected from an on board GPS unit and is sent out automatically at user defined intervals, vehicle start and stop or when queried by the user using our included web based WTAVL Tracking Interface. The FleetAlert is the single ideal solution for customers looking to track cars, buses or trucks occasionally or continuously. The FleetAlert packs a host of advanced features and works on all available service plans, allowing the customer to simply upgrade service plans, not hardware when their needs change. Service plans start at $9.95 a month for unlimited vehicle locates. Most importantly, the FleetAlert does not use the cellular system! The cellular network is designed for voice communication not digital data. The FleetAlert uses national paging networks designed to carry data. The Wireless Telematics' Automatic Vehicle Locator (FleetAlert) is an easy-to-install, wireless, GPS, web based, location and tracking product from which a user can find a car, truck or bus in real time using their Internet connected personal computer. E-mail, pager, or cell phone notifications can be user programmed for excessive speed alerts or travel in or out of a user defined geographical area.

Functional Specifications
Configuring
- Operational parameters and constants are stored in within the FleetAlert.
- These parameters can be changed via the WTAVL Tracking Interface .
Wireless Data Burst
Information from the FleetAlert is transmitted via the national two-way paging network. The four modes of operation are:
Automatic Mode: Location & speed is automatically transmitted at a user-defined rate such as one every 15 minutes.
Start/Stop: Location is automatically transmitted each time the vehicle is turn on or turns off. Also when the vehicle is turn off the maximum speed the vehicle reached since it was last turned on is transmitted.
Query Mode: The device is requested to send location and other data by the user through the WTAVL Tracking Interface.
Exception/Notification Mode: The FleetAlert transmits an alert with current location and speed when a user-defined limit is exceeded.
iSpeed Notifications
Speed limits may be set at the WTAVL Tracking Interface interface. The FleetAlert will transmit an alert to pagers, cell-phones, or e-mail once the iSPEED is exceeded.Create iFences
An iFence is a circular virtual geological fence that the user can draw on the map using our WTAVL Tracking Interface and program into the device to define an area of interest. When the vehicle enters or exits the iFence the device will report the action thus notifying you by sending an email or a message to your pager.Set Tracking Interval
